How to make the perfect tweet

Twitter

This story is about how to make the perfect tweet. They are saying that as we need to stick to the 140 character limit that instead of using that to make a story use it as a statement and write things that actually matter. Having things that matter will make it more interesting and people can find it easier. When we use a hashtag we should use it properly like using it to go with what we are saying in our tweet so that it matches and flows. Some people don't do that and as it comes out in a mess. Also, we should add an image as it makes it more interesting what we will be tweeting.

  • It has been proven that posts with images have an 18% higher click-through rate than those without.
  • The most common objectives of using Twitter are to draw engagement to third-party content or grow a community.
  • It’s recommended that businesses tweet 14 times a day with gaps of one or two hours.

I think by writing an article about this is a good thing as it makes people who use twitter think about what they write and say. Having too much to say and waffling on can be a problem for some people as they are in a mood or think that people care when unfortunately many people don't.

Emojis and quizzes led the way at Social Media Week 2015

James Whatley on stage at Social Media Week 2015

There has been many things that have changed about social media week over the past couple years. They have always tried to make it intreseting and fun at the same time. They all wanted to make sure that the media weeks were always different to one another and make it unique every time. Social media week hasnt  been boring for a while now and thats because they have been including many things. For example, content in the new banner, equality on agenda, quizzes rule the internet, online video is here to stay and emojis. They hav ebeen including these things one way or another.

  • Social Media Week has come under fire though from many sources, with articles written (and once an entire Tumblr page set up) for the sole purpose of mocking the insights from those in attendance.
  • This year, it seems that Social Media Week is growing up with it: it was better organised, had more control over the overall output and, as a result, had far better content.

I think that its good that they are making the social media more fun and intresting as it keeps the audience entertained and made sure that they learn and listenm and also have fun in what they are talking about. Before the audience would have been bored or not intrested in what they had to say but now they have been developing to talk about better things and they are being more interactive with the audience also they are using different approaches which makes it better.
